From March 16th to 19th 2017, 7 student delegates of International Department, Shude High School attended HMUN China (Harvard Model United Nations China) in Beijing to debate and discuss international hot issues with over 1200 elite high school students from all over the world!

As one of the most academically demanding and internationally influential model united nations in Asia, HMUN China is a great challenge to student delegates’ academic competence and knowledge reserve in politics, history, geography and economics, etc. Just like the United Nations, HMUN China sets four venues for the General Assemblies, Economic and Social Council, Regional Bodies and Special Agencies and each venue has different topics for discussion. The 7 student delegates of International Department took part in the discussion of 5 international topics, such as military intervention in cross-border conflicts, 2017 WTO negotiation and cyberterrorism, etc. And among our 7 student delegates, Han MX and Sun JY stood out from their peers who came from all around the world to win the Outstanding Delegate award!
