Summary of 2019 Admission Result

Up to now, the class of 2016 students from the International Department have received more than 350 offers from the world renowned universities including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Switzerland, Hong Kong and other countries and regions!

It includes University of Cambridge and Imperial College London in the United Kingdom, the University of Chicago (#3 in the U.S. News Best National Universities), Wellesley College (TOP 5 U.S. News Best Liberal Arts Colleges), the Carleton College (TOP 5 U.S. News Best Liberal Arts Colleges), the McGill University (Top 3 Universities in Canada), University of Toronto (Top 3 Universities in Canada), and UBC (Top 3 Universities in Canada). They also received 10 offers from the University of Hong Kong.

The United Kingdom

As of April 10, 22 students from the International Department who have applied to UK universities have received 44 offers from TOP 10 universities and 12 from “G5 Super Elite Universities” in the United Kingdom. With the excellent academic performance, distinctive personality and excellent comprehensive quality, the class of 2016 students successfully received the admission from top universities including University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, and the University College London.

The United States

As of April 9, 65 students from the International Department who have applied to American universities have received more than 100 offers from TOP 50 universities in the USA, including University of Chicago (#3 in the U.S. News Best National Universities), Wellesley College (#3 in the U.S. News Best Liberal Arts Colleges), whose difficulty of being accepted is not less than that of Ivy League Universities), Carleton College (#5 in the U.S. News Best Liberal Arts Colleges), and Haverford College (#11 in the U.S. News Best Liberal Arts Colleges). At the same time, the students also received the offers from other famous universities, such as the New York University (#30 in the U.S. News Best National Universities), University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Rhode Island School of Design (#1 in U.S. News Best Fine Arts Programs).

Canada

As of April 18, 56 senior students who intended to study in Canada have already received 120 offers from TOP 10 universities in Canada!

It includes 53 offers from Top 3 medical doctoral universities in Canada.

Especially McGill University, which is called "the Northern Harvard" (#1 in medical doctoral university in Canada), our students received 13 offers!

Australia

As in previous years, the universities in Australia this year sent many offers to the International Department. The students received 90 offers from "TOP 8 universities in Australia". The offer season is not over yet, and there is no surprise that the admission rate to "TOP 8 universities in Australia" will still be 100%!

Hong Kong

This year, the admission to universities in Hong Kong, China is exceptionally remarkable. The students received 15 offers from University of Hong Kong, 1 from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, 4 from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and 1 the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Moreover, some students got admitted to YSS (Young Scientist Scheme of the University) of University of Hong Kong. YSS only selects the most outstanding students. In the year 2018-2019, there were only 18 students got admitted to YSS in the first admission round, indicating the difficulty of being accepted.
