Dream Choir, a charity gala held by students of Shude International

When the New Year approaches, the Dream Choir will speak out for the dream, raise funds for the groups in need through singing and dancing performances, and help them achieve their wishes. This New Years Charity Gala was held on the evening of December 30, 2021. A total of ¥20,111.66 Yuan of charity funds were raised on the spot, all of which were donated to Chinese Relief & Development Foundation to help serve the public welfare project named Uncle Xiaoshans Mailbox in Kangding City.

Uncle Xiaoshans Mailbox, a nationally well-known public welfare project, set up real mailboxes on school campus, encourages the children of migrant workers, left-behind children in urban and rural areas, and children in Tibetan areas, etc., to write letters expressing their heartfelt words and emotions to Uncle Xiaoshan. The Uncle Xiaoshan project has more than 2,700 volunteers from all over the country and they write letters back responding to the learning problems, psychological troubles and growing confusions faced by children in their letters in a timely and accurate manner. At present, 18 primary and secondary schools in Chengdu, Luzhou, Ganzi and other places in Sichuan have successively carried out such services.
