On the evening of March 30, 2023, the 2nd TEDx English Speech Gala of Shude International Department began. Nineteen middle school student speakers delivered profound thoughts to the live audience with fluent language, open-mindedness, and superb public speaking skills. The theme of this TEDx English Speech Gala was "Connection."

TEDx is a platform for spreading new ideas and sharing new perspectives. The Shude International Department's TEDx English Speech Gala actively enhances students' cross-cultural and cross-linguistic communication abilities, broadens their international perspectives and global outlooks, and contributes to strengthening cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries. The nineteen speakers, starting from their personal transformations, reevaluations of society, and societal progress, provided thought-provoking collisions that will enlighten more students to truly understand themselves, others, and the world.
